3- Sunset Of The Follower

The sunset is red. No, more orange! As a peach
I saw a man jump off the rocks near the beach

A man looks out a window with an eye that cares
He also, into this gold and peachy sunset, stares

I sit under the broken branch of this old tree
A blue scarf holds it, firmly, from falling free

I only arrived recently, who was kind to thee?
If I was rich then, this kindness I couldn’t see

I have no home, money, children nor a wife
My only riches are your prayers, O my Life!

You simply fill my heart to the fullest and so
I am detached from any status, high and low

They keep telling me religious love is a myth
But again You are what my heart is Rich with

The bread of your day could be mine for a year
My life-ship is God’s, where will He, me, steer?

Under the tree, I sleep and have a peace of mind
Maybe through this resting, our roots could bind
