It covers its darkness all over my heart’s realms
Falling into the abyss made by its own sadness

I lie down on the floor watching the stars hover
Am I only a servant or more? The foolish lover?
Oh but I’ve been a fool of this love for so long
What made this one night turn around wrong?
Tears run down my cheeks as I stare at the sky
Oh I wish I could have wings from heaven to fly
Some tears stay in my eyes, they refuse to fall
They seem to enjoy the stars too, so they stall
