The Shore

O sunset of the ocean do you see this lover?
Do you observe my Self, does it fly or hover?

The ship of life sails me away from the shore
The shore where Lover awaits, my heart’s core

O my love, await my arrival, the sea takes me
But in time, fate will merge us within this sea

Your emotions flow within my heart and I die
That maybe by my death, mine soul could fly

This flight takes me to one place, to your chest
A child longs for a mother’s as I do your breast

A warmth that encompasses my emotions away
How I wish, by my life, that I could, with you, stay

Only by the will of God, Himself am I so far
For it takes a God to keep light from a star

When will He let your light reach these eyes?
My soul is getting old! Without you, time flies

In your presence, time stops and I enjoy the view
Watching your eyes slice mine, a knife they drew

So sharp is the gaze of the lover that I will vanish
And sadness from my heart will suddenly banish
