Many secrets of the soul are revealed when we fast
Oh the gems of the heart shall be uncovered at last
Cleanse yourself from all this poor material food
With clouds, the sky’s limits can’t be understood
Only seen the ocean’s surface, and you call it vast?
How vast is the soul when its waters you out-cast?
Empty your cup of all knowledge every day
To find true Self, you must cross every way
You only grow wise from what you’ve taught
Give not what you can, but what you cannot
